The 8.5G~11.35G OEO Converter (2R Repeater) is a high-performance, transparent fiber-to-fiber media converter designed to regenerate (re-amplify, re-shape, re-time) 10Gbps optical signals, including 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, and Fiber Channel. These devices enable long-distance transmission and wavelength conversion using SFP+ or XFP modules.
OEO Fiber Media Converter Overview
Standalone 10G OEO Converter Repeater with XFP Slot to XFP Slot utilizes optical-electricity-optical conversion principles to realize optical signal regeneration, enabling optical signal amplification, regeneration, and wavelength conversion. When combined with coarse/dense wavelength division multiplexing, it enables WDM transmission to quickly improve communication capacity and expand bandwidth on existing networks using cost-effective, easy-to-operate solutions.
